Brooke Cody is a senior at GW from Long Island, New York who is majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in STEM Teaching. She is pursuing her teaching licensure through the GWTeach program to gain certification in Biological science. Since being at GW, Brooke has worked as an undergraduate TA in an introductory biology laboratory and is assisting clinical research with dementia patients in nursing homes. Brooke enjoys involvement in a variety of activities on and off campus including music, athletics, and sorority. She is excited to see where her future in the educational field takes her and is grateful for the opportunity to provide students support and encouragement to grow as individuals throughout their academic experiences.
Olivia Dwyer is originally from West Springfield, Massachusetts majoring in Political Science and Minoring in STEM Education. She is pursuing a science teaching certification through GWTeach and can’t wait to bring her learning to the classroom upon graduation. On campus, Olivia is the Director of Finance for the GW Residence Hall Association and works as a Peer Mediator for Residence Life as well as a Team Leader in the early education program, Jumpstart. In her free time, Olivia enjoys crochet, spending time with friends and family, and exploring different communities in the DMV.
Sarah Mann is a junior from Hightstown, New Jersey majoring in Mathematics and minoring in STEM Teaching. She is pursuing a teaching certificate in secondary mathematics through GWTeach. Sarah is a lead tutor for the Math Matters program providing high-impact math tutoring to middle school students in DCPS. In her free time, Sarah enjoys drawing, painting, and exploring new areas of DC.
Stephanie Myers is a senior from Cinnaminson, New Jersey majoring in Political Science and Economics with a minor in STEM Teaching. Through the GW Teach program and with the help of the Noyce Program, she is pursuing her teaching certification in high school mathematics. On campus, Stephanie is a member of the GW Figure Skating Team. In her free time, she enjoys trying new food, hanging out with her cats, and spending time outside in DC.
Rachel Worsham is a senior from Long Island completing a BS in Political Science. She is minoring in Mathematics and STEM teaching to earn her teacher certification through GWTeach and with support from the Noyce program. While living in the district, Rachel enjoys trying out new restaurants and taking walks on the National Mall. In her spare time, she enjoys playing piano, reading, and creative writing.
